In March 2018, a large trinitrotoluene factory-warehouse complex a few miles south of Grenton caught fire due to somebody smoking in a restricted area, the fire lit some TNT and it exploded, this cascaded across the whole complex.
The explosion was 1.7 kilotons of TNT, the explosion was heard many miles away.
In nextdoor Grenton, mere miles away, it was as loud as gunshot, nobody reacted because of the commonality of gunshots though.
The factory was obviously reduced to a smouldering crater, it was as if a small nuke had gone off after all.
103 people were killed, all were in or near the warehouse-factory.
