As Axolotlia is a member of NATO, and located in one of the most strategic places on Earth, it lets the USA and Europe station almost anything on the islands.

The foreign militaries aren't allowed to build new bases, but they are allowed to use Axolotlia’s current bases.

The powerful foreign militaries in Axolotlia protect Axolotlia, and let Axolotlia get quality protection without needing to spend much on it's own military. Axolotlia even earns money from it, as the foreign militaries must pay Axolotlia to use Axolotlia.

Axolotlia has a “Confiscation Clause” that allows Axolotlia to legally take any and all military assets on its soil if a country is kicked out of Axolotlia’s military bases and the assets aren't evacuated in time.
