Governmental System
The country is broken in 4 layers with each having a government, with one person from each parts of the previous layer in the next (excluding national.)
National Gov: President and Vice President, 8 Governors, 30 Administrators.
Scireal Govs: Governor, and X Administrators
District Govs: Administrator, and X Mayors
Hundred Govs: Mayor, and 20 citizens
(Hundred is for cities and towns.)
For example, Arada Scire has 7 Admins, North and West each have 2. Spit District has 4 mayors because it has 4 hundreds, but Williŋ District has 1 mayor, the mayor of the city of Williŋ, so just 2 people in their government.
Nearly Direct Democracy
A proposal is proposed to a Government, if approved by more than half of that government, it goes to public vote on the next election day, usually the first of the next month. If it passes, that government will send it to the next layer up if it is intended for a higher layer.
Critical matters that have to go fast can skip the public elections and can be instantly sent to the next layer. What counts as critical?
A proposal is deemed critical if it is proposed by the leader of a gov (mayor, admin, governor, president/VP), or if in the public election the majority of yes votes check a box that says “Is this a critical matter?” in which case it will skip to the next layer and not require a public vote, the next layer’s gov can still repeal the critical status and put it to public vote though.
Governmental system
Each Scire gets its own governor. The governors, along with the President and Vice President, create the laws and stuff to improve the country. Every 2 years the governors are elected, and every 5 years the President and Vice President are elected. Dean has been elected twice back to back, (2017 emergency election, 2020 normal election), because he is so dang good.
Presidential elections are on every year divisible by 5, and in emergencies. The new minimum presidential age (set in 2018 after Dean got elected) is 10.
