Wild Desert Robot Vacuum (Roomba)

In 2018, the Axolotlian Government released 1,217 solar-powered robot vacuums into the Arada Desert, it was an experiment by the government to have fun, and to see what happens. The vacuums had their vacuum elements removed and were fitted with strong motors and off road tires, they just brush sand around due to the lack of vacuuming. They are also actively maintained and tracked via GPS.

The public thought this was hilarious.

During the last check in 2023, there were 724 still-working vacuums, the furthest traveled one, #183 went 6.52 miles. Vacuum #633 had revealed a fossil.

Every now and then, people release new vacuums.

It is rumored that the vacuums are becoming a part of the ecosystem, as things for animals to ride.
