Werbrid

The werbrid is a unique type of ratite that migrated to the Axolotlian archipelago thousands of years ago, they then evolved to fit the unique environment of Axolotlia. They have been a delicacy for hundreds of years. They are about 3-4 feet tall and weighs on average 54 lbs. Their call is just screaming.

They were used by Dr. Grest Powder in 1995 to help the Axolotlian Military in defending Axoton from the Canadian geese (RIP Werbrid Werbridson killed by Goose Gooseson). They can be found in the central Mountains, and the Derentol Forest located damn near the southern coast.

They are very territorial and have organized groups that fight over land, literal Werbrid wars, these groups get as big as a thousand and frontlines can span miles.They move to the coasts in fall, often around October.
