Axolotlian punishments for crime

Axolotlia’s prison system is based on the nordics, they rehabilitate instead of punish.

Unique Laws

It is illegal to harass a gret while the gret is smoking. (Made November 23, 1999. Because a lot of teens gave grets cigarettes and then poked them.)

Car-centric development is illegal, only walkable cities with good public transit.

In cities and towns, at least 10% of the city must be parks.

It is illegal to assign more than 15 minutes of homework to a student per class. Homework can only be assigned to students that are failing.

It is illegal to look through somebody else's belongings, digital and physical, you may only look through what they specifically let you.

For every tree chopped down, you must plant AT LEAST one new tree somewhere in the country, it doesn't have to be where you chopped one down.

Unique Laws

In Axolotlia, it is illegal to…

1. Produce more CO2 than you remove,

2. Chop down trees without a permit,

3. Mine for coal, oil, or natural gas,

4. Litter, or throw anything recyclable in the trash.

5. Be a flat Earther, Anti-Vaxxer, or Karen.

6. Bring non-authorized organisms into the country, the unique ecosystem could be destroyed by plants or animals from other countries.

7. It is illegal to run with scissors. Up to a week in prison. If injuries occur, up to a month. If running with scissors in a crowded area, it is classed as an act of terrorism.

8. It is illegal to pass off AI generated content as non-AI generated. Doing so can lead to fines of up to 100AXW, 3,244 USD

Unique laws

Cigarettes and Vapes and anything with nicotine must legally be 5x the price of the highest price in other countries.

In Minift all buildings must have a basement, this is so every building has a protected area from the gargantuan sandstorms that can bury homes and sandblast stuff.

Crappy mobile game ads are illegal, although the law bans many other types of ads as well, it was very clearly made to target crappy mobile game ads, “Publicizing an ad that is not accurate to the average user experience, needlessly sexual, disturbing, or attempts to trick users into clicking on it, via fake buttons, fake playability, etc, is punishable by up to a 120 Waru (3,892.80 USD) fine.”

Unique laws

If you take advantage of the human nature to help others in need to commit a crime on them, you get extra punishment (ex: somebody knocks on your door in a panic asking you to help them because they are injured, but when you open the door they knock you out and rob you. Or scamming friendly old people out of their money while pretending to be their wrongfully imprisoned grandchild.)

It is illegal to force pets to eat diets that are not compatible (eg. vegan dog/cat) it is animal abuse and depending on the case, it could lead to prison or high fines.

Misleading advertising is illegal, like a sign saying $1 with .99 being super tiny.

Also cancelling something must be “feasibly and practically possible and easy to do.” Unsubbing from an email newsletter cannot take more than 10 clicks and must be finished in at most 5 hours.

Unique laws

There cannot be more than 30 seconds of ads per 8 minutes of footage when in video format, and when not in video format, ads cannot take up more than 10% of the screen. This goes with the previous ad laws.

Self driving cars are banned, unless they agree to a very long list of rules, which none of the self driving car companies would ever agree to. In fact all cars in Axolotlia must be built in Axolotlia to Axolotlia’s demands, the demands are super strict and not following them to the letter can result in hefty fines.

Also every 1 mile of driving costs 0.10 AXW.

Right to Roam

Right to roam (Axolisc: Rihtan to Wεrian) is very upheld and quite expansive in Axolotlia, basically right to roam is the right for an individual to go on and sometimes stay on private property so long as they respect the ownership and do not profit from it.

About 87% of Axolotlia is roamable, meaning 87% of the country is campable.

Laws

Getting in contact with a company customer service must take at most 1 hour and cannot use any bots. Any company that fails to comply cannot do service/operate in Axolotlia.

Axolotlia doesn't use size based fishing, because it breeds smaller fish, previous laws were replaced in 2019 in favor of this.

If enough info comes out that a chemical is dangerous, it is rapidly banned from the country, recently for example is PFAS, which is a super big deal and > 90% have in their blood in measurable amounts and causes issues I heard from MinuteFood. So any and all PFAS is now illegal.

“Stupid People < Animal” Law

If you are knowingly stupid to wild animals and they hurt you, you can’t do shit and the animal isn't punished or killed. Is a werbrid doing literally nothing in the woods minding its business in its natural habitat and you start provoking it and it hurts you, the werbrid is often praised and you are punished, good thing it wasn't an Axolotlian Great Brown Gorilla, because you would be dead and it would not be killed, if it were even found.

In the US, the animal may be euthanized, in Axolotlia, the situation gets jokes on late night TV and memes.

Legal things that make no sense

It is legal for citizens to own tanks. You just can’t use it in public, but you can use it on your own property and at “tank centers”, places where people can use their own personal tanks or tanks owned by the centers.

It is legal for somebody to murder, if the victim gives written and recorded consent on video. You must record the victim both verbally consenting and while they write the consent to be killed. This “law” only exists due to 6 loopholes and 11 conflicting laws and this “law” is not recognized in Arada, Coast, Lucin, Capital, or Bræ Scires, or in Welliŋville, and 12 other cities not in the specified Scires, the victim must show no signs of distress or have been forced to consent, all of it must have taken place in a police station.

It is legal to slap flat Earthers, anti vaxxers, and people being assholes in public (such as karen's harassing ordinary employees doing their jobs.)
