Sign Languages

Axolotlia has many unrelated sign languages all in use today (15 to 18).

Bræ, Axoton, Aradan Spit, Lucinian, North Central Mountain, Souþcoast, and Fluke all appeared in the last 100 years.

The ones that are from colonial era are Old Axoton, Old Bræ, Old Aradan, Old Central Mountain, and Old Lucinian, all of which are still in use today but are falling out.

Then in the native era there is Precolonial Bræ, North Fentolese, Lucinian Tribal, and Desert Nomadic.

The current Lingua Franca is Axolotlian Sign Language.

Only 53,000 deaf people in Axolotlia, or 2.8% of the country.
