Slavery abolition 

As soon as the British Empire abolished slavery in 1834, The Colony of Atlantis gave slave owners a week to let every slave free, after that, they hunted down and arrested every remaining slave owner that didn’t know about the new laws, and killed anybody that knew about the new laws that kept slaves.

The CoA took this extremely seriously, as soon as slaves were free, they were given the same rights and treatment as the rest, discrimination was made punishable by death.

There were only 386 slaves on the islands.
