2011 temporary government collapse

Between April 4th and April 30th, 2011, Axolotlia experienced a 27-day period without a functioning government as a result of a terrorist cyber attack.

The British Government sponsored terrorist organization “The Bloody Good Innits” (more info in the foreign relations section) sabotaged the Axolotlian Government’s communication network, causing a collapse of communication, leading to the government's temporary shutdown.

During the shutdown, the nation experienced a small recession, prices shot up 6%, and crime rose 1%, government debt went up 22%, an increase of only 56 million dollars, and unemployment rose 1.3%.

When the government came back, everything settled back to pre shutdown levels.

It was one of the largest cyber attacks in history.
