The Big One
The Big One (Þe Big One) is a gargantuan car race. 2,294 yardlongs (1,564 miles) long. It is a race that completely goes around the entire country, including across the Norbridge Bridge taking the race around Bræ Island on top of the Main Island. The race can last as long as 26 hours.
This race is held only once every 5 years (started 2015), and if there is a storm at a certain part of the track while the racers are in the area, the race doesn't stop. It is held in fall because the golden orange fall trees look pretty, also the chance there is snow or fog or rain ups the stakes.
Everyone gets the same car, thus the race is pure skill, and randomness.

Infamous Parts
The Abilobotch Step: the whole town of Abilobotch has a step, there is no way around it, the cars have to jump a curb when they go through Abilobotch.
The Mountain Edge: a mile long sharp curvy area with no guard rail. In the mountains.
Norbridge Bridges: a huge bridge crossing the Norbridge Channel, bridging the gap between Main and Bræ island, it is one of the biggest straightaways in the whole race, and it is used twice, once to Bræ and once fro.
The Big One Setup
The Big One has no upper limit for racers so racers from around the world come to race, the largest turnout was 2025 with 483 teams. Though teams must register at a minimum 3 years before the race and must submit enough money to buy their car, before the car is manufactured.
Each team consists of 4 professional racers in a randomly preselected (5 years prior) subcompact car (2015: 2010 Mini Cooper. 2025: 2020 Honda Fit).
The car is fitted with a massively overpowered engine so they can reach their needed 120+ mph (To hit an average of like 80mph extreme speeds are needed to counteract the slowness of the towns and cities).
