Lifeton (MC)

Lifeton is home to the largest lemon farm on Earth and is owned by Life Inc.

Every year, on April 3rd, lemon day occurs, where from the giant spire at the center of Lifeton, Life Inc. shoots lemons at civilians at 50mph. Axolotlia has very little control over Lifeton, so it acts as a mini country.

It has roughly 2,700 people as of 2023.

All citizens are employees of Life Inc. and all buildings are owned by Life Inc..

Citizens of Lifeton are not allowed to leave and live in poverty, and Life Inc. is not communicating with Axoton. All police are blocked from entering Lifeton.

The situation is tense and Lifeton may be shut down in the near future.

Life Inc. commits frequent human rights abuses.

The military raids Lifeton frequently to free neo-slaves, by frequently we mean about once a month, the reason they don't stay in is because Life Inc. has its own military that often pesters the military away leading to battles that needlessly take lives. The neo-slaves can wait a month for rescue to come in at the right time.

The military has been in a siege around the town since 2011, cutting it off from the outside world only allowing lemons and people to leave and food and water to go in, the way Life Inc. gets new neo-slaves in is literally unknown to the Axolotlian Government, some think there is an underground tunnel from the nearby woods.

Before it was conquered by Life Inc. it was a small town of 212 called Grent Riverside Plantations. It’s previous mayor once said “If Lifeton ever breaks free from Life (inc.), it will likely not rename, because it will be a cautionary tale. And renaming is just a hassle, we’d have paperwork!”

On all sides, including the two riverfronts, are giant 10-20 ft tall concrete walls with no enterances except one on the land side and one on the meeting point of the two rivers where Lifeton ships lemons, despite that enternace being guarded by a fucking warship and all shipments now being done in ways Axolotlia cannot track anymore.

The walls are many feet thick and have guards mounted on top, alongside the lemoncannons set in the walls along the top on the land border side.

Then from the inside of the wall to the center of town is miles of lemon trees, then we reach the town center, basically a slum, and then the spire.

The raids are conducted by shooting the guards at one area of the wall then going over the wall and storming the town then escaping through an entrance.
