Axolotlian Declaration of Independence 

It is very unusually short:

The Colony of Atlantis declares independence from the United Kingdom as The Republic of Axolotlia. They have cruelly subjugated Axolotlian culture, and repressed any nationalism, including the worship of the Axolotl Gods and use of the Axolisc language, including numerous violent attempts by the British to stop Axolisc from splitting from English, using methods such as mass killing any speakers. They wanted to prevent Axolisc from diverging from English for reasons we are not even aware of. They have also treated the native Fentolese people and Bræ people poorly ever since they joined the Colony of Atlantis willingly in 1755, and stopped both groups from speaking the islands’ sole native language of fentolese in public (fentolese is lowercase at request of the fentolese speaking community). We urge all of thou in the international community to recognize Axolotlia and what the UK did.
